Golf Swing Feedback

Why “Any Swing Tips?” Is the Wrong Question

A swing video rarely tells the whole story. It can show movement, positions, and tempo, but it usually cannot explain what the golfer is trying to accomplish or what advice is realistic.

Most AI swing analysis sees the swing. SwingIQ helps the AI understand the golfer first.

Missing Context

Two similar-looking swings can need different advice.

Golf feedback changes when you know the player's scoring level, miss pattern, physical limitations, practice time, and current swing focus. Without that context, "any tips?" often produces advice that sounds reasonable but does not match the golfer.

Golfer A

Trying to break 100

25 handicap, driver carry 190, practices once per week, miss is fat shots, limited mobility, and the goal is better contact.

Golfer B

Trying to break 80

8 handicap, driver carry 260, practices four times per week, miss is a pull draw, recently took lessons, and the goal is more distance.

Generic Advice

Why swing tips often miss the point.

Swing positions matter, but they do not answer what the golfer is trying to accomplish. Many golfers do not need a prettier swing first. They need lower scores, fewer penalties, better contact, or one repeatable priority.

Different Levels

The same swing can need different recommendations.

A beginner or high-handicap golfer may need simpler setup, balance, low-point control, and contact work. A better golfer may need sequencing, speed, dispersion, rotation, or a specific refinement from a recent lesson.

How SwingIQ Works

Context before analysis.

SwingIQ does not directly analyze video in the MVP. It collects golfer context first, then generates a personalized AI swing-analysis prompt you can use with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, or another assistant.

Better Questions

Ask more than “Any swing tips?”

What is my typical miss?

What is my handicap?

What am I trying to improve?

How often can I practice?

Where do I usually practice?

What am I currently working on?

Give AI the golfer before the swing tip.
